Why is the product dual-licensed?

The product is dual-licensed using the Manorrock Open license and the Manorrock Commercial license so that you have your choice of license you want to work with.

Do I have to pay for using the parser?

No. But if you want to integrate it into another product you will have to abide by the licensing terms, or negotiate a commercial license. Note if you run the product standalone you are safe to use it without any worry. If you still have questions, please contact sales@manorrock.com.

Why would I want to pay for the parser?

Well, if you want immediate access to bug fixes, security fixes and new functionality it would make sense to pay for the parser. Otherwise you will see the releases coming around a bit slower.

The last release seems to be a little while ago. Is the project stalled?

Quite the contrary, the project is alive and well, the reason why you see the latest release to be a while ago is because we release the open source bits on a delayed basis. If you are a paying subscriber you will get releases as soon as they become available.

You say it is open source, can I contribute?

Yes you can contribute, but be aware you will have to allow us to commercially license your contributions as well. Otherwise we won't be able to accept your contributions.
