Introduction

If you want to run JSF on Jetty 6.x you have two options available to you to make it work. See below for more information.

Solution 1

This solution assumes you want every application on your Jetty server to use the same version of JSF.

• Copy the jsf-api.jar and the jsp-impl.jar into $JETTY6_ROOT/lib/ext directory.
• Restart your server.

Solution 2

This solution assumes you want to be able to make different versions of JSF available to your applications.

• Copy the jsf-api.jar and the jsp-impl.jar into your $WEBAPP_ROOT/WEB-INF/lib directory.
• Restart your server.
